OUTDOORS Drawing: Nature vs. Architecture

 

The second artwork is an outdoor drawing through nature observation.

October 10th. After seeing some videos of land art, the proposal was to make a drawing of an outdoor image. We started drawing some sketches of different places of the faculty, where nature and architecture converge.

Then, I chose the 3rd one to do my final work. So, during the week I turned my sketch into an accurate drawing:

October 17th. In the class I finished my drawing using watercolors, this is the final result: 

I am satisfied with the result because through this painting I was able to connect with the environment analysing each part and detail of it. Also, I practiced painting with water colors, which is a technique I am not used to use.
